Beach Bunny Yarns
Ronald Roberts is a retired Air Force Officer who has never done the same job twice! The experience and fun of learning and doing new things led him to explore fiber arts and eventually dyeing. He decided to put his business, engineering, and management skills to work for himself, and started Beach Bunny Yarns in 2019. With his lovely and talented wife, Alicia (who you will meet later) they’ve steadily grown their business and did their first major show in 2022.
Ron has been knitting and crocheting for over 18 years now and always look for new challenges. He’s had the opportunity to teach young-adult and adult learners in professional and academic environments. In 2018, he started teaching knitting at his LYS (Local Yarn Store) and privately. Ron loves the learning process and watching as his students learn and show off their knitting success!
Beach Bunny Yarns is passionate about sea turtle conservation. In 2019 & 2021, they donated more than $1,500 to Marine Science Center of Ponce Inlet. This education and marine rescue center takes in more sea turtles than any other on Florida's east coast. 100% of the profits from sales of Conservation yarn collection go directly to wildlife conservation efforts.
You can see all of the beautiful hand-dyed yarns that Beach Bunny Yarns has to offer at their website.
